On 4-29-13 the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office was notified that a traffic stop in Oklahoma had developed information on large amounts of marijuana being distributed from a residence in the 4200 block of Whattahill Road in the Greenwood area.
Deputies from Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office, officers with the 12th/21st Drug Task Force, DEA, ATF, and ICE went to the residence and made contact with the home owner and two other subjects. In speaking with the home owner several large packages of compressed marijuana were located in a wheel barrow on the front porch of the residence.
The subjects were arrested and a search warrant was obtained for the residence. The results of the search were around 40 lbs of compressed marijuana, personal use amounts of marijuana, 13 firearms, and several items of paraphernalia.
Donald Norman, age 56, and Diana Norman, age 44, were arrested for Possession of Marijuana with Purpose to Deliver, 25 to 100 lbs, Drug Paraphernalia, Felony, Maintaining Premises for Narcotic Sales, and Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms. All of the above charges are felonies.
Also arrested was Richard Willis, age 42, who was charged with the same violations as the other two, but Willis was also charged with being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
